Fall Break – Literally

Hello, Everyone.

It’s Thursday. My fall break is nearly over and I have not done anything to prepare myself for the second quarter. However, I just have not done so. Why, you ask? Welp, I broke my left foot. It isn’t a bad break. Nonetheless, it is still a break and I am not allowed to move around except for going to the bathroom. My son is visiting me, and helping me around the house. To be honest, I think he really dislikes the fact that I need his help. He’s been taking care of the dogs for me. He has been feeding them, watering them, and putting them out to go potty. I am insanely grateful for his help; but, I really REALLY want to get out of bed.

I want to go to work and get all the papers I need to grade. I want to catch up on my lesson plans so that I do not go into work on Monday with no plan of attack. I need to make sure that all of my assignments are printed and ready to go. I have so much to do, and I can’t do a damn thing because I do not get my cam walker until tomorrow (Friday).

I am so frustrated with being stuck in bed. The only good thing coming out of this is that I am almost caught up with my assignment with my Digital Literacies and New Media class from GCU. I need to write a paper about the comparison and contrast of digital literacies and new literacies; whatever that means. I need to write 1000-1250 words on the subject using 3 to 5 scholarly sources. I really have no idea where to begin. I need a break from learning. I really do. My break from University does not come until winter break, though. Only a little more than two months to go!

Well, I think I am out of spunk to write, so I will leave you here.

Until next time. Eat, Breath, Math.
